You may experience the following temporary side effects:
. Irritation, redness of the skin (erythema), burning sensation, small blisters (vesiculation) and itching (pruritus). Wait until the symptoms disappear completely before starting your next treatment.
. Sensations of tingling and stinging. Muscle numbness (paraesthesia) may occur. A slight pain may be felt at the start of the treatment or after the alternating polarity sequence. If you experience any of the above side effects, reduce the intensity during the next treatment.
. Increased sweating: After the first few treatments, you may experience increased sweating. This symptom will disappear after a few treatments.
. Small electric shocks during treatment: In very rare cases, a harmless electric shock may occur if treatment is stopped suddenly. To avoid this risk, slowly remove your hands, feet or armpit electrodes.
Dryness of the skin: The skin may become dry, small lesions or flaking may appear. To reduce these symptoms, use a moisturizer after treatments.
. Aluminum may cause minor allergic reactions in some users. They may develop red, bumpy, scaly, itchy, or swollen skin on the contact surface. If you notice an allergic reaction developing on the treated area of skin, stop using the device and contact Dermadry Customer Service.
